COVID-19 Managerial Insights: Supporting Businesses During an Uncertain Time

We are at the beginning of a pandemic that’s sweeping across the world. Businesses and their markets have been dramatically altered as cities and nations suspend normal operations. The disruption of the “steady state” has led to normal business practices becoming less relevant and significant adjustments for companies and organizations whose practices were not designed to accommodate remote workers or the mass closures of retail, travel, manufacturing, services or the disruption of supply chains. This is a time for thinking and working differently.

The UofSC Darla Moore School of Business is one of the leading business schools in the nation, boasting of a world-renowned faculty who possess a wide range of experience and conduct groundbreaking research. We at the Executive Education Department have compiled those experiences, research and insights to bring them to the business community via courses and programs and help managers and leaders development and achieve their business strategies.

Since we are also a part of the community as a whole, we have wondered how we can best assist the business community during this difficult time. The result is the Managerial Insights: Supporting Businesses During an Uncertain Time radio series and video seminars (please use the registration links provided for each topic).

Leading Moore School faculty members are volunteering their time and expertise to not only help the South Carolina business community combat this challenging business environment and survive but to adapt and thrive.
