Language Immersion

Every International MBA Language Track student selects a language, which begins with introductory language training in the International MBA core. Students then participate in an intensive in-country language immersion to increase their fluency to a level sufficient for business and social conversations.

Your in-country learning experience

Language tracks

Immersion typically lasts from early January until early March of your second year. You will spend approximately three to four hours per day in the classroom advancing your chosen language during the immersion experience. You can choose from the following tracks and locations:

French track
Paris, France
ESCP Business School

German track
Vallendar OR Dusseldorf, Germany
WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management

Spanish track
Valencia, Spain
Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV)

Housing for language tracks

While completing the immersion, students have a range of housing options to choose from. This can vary depending on individual tastes, preferences and availability of housing options in a particular region. Most students opt to rent an apartment/flat near their classes. Prior to the immersion you will be provided with tips and suggestions compiled by previous classes to use as a guide to your housing search.
