The Department of Management is home to research and educational centers. These centers contribute to educational excellence in traditional management areas that include entrepreneurship, strategic management, human resources, business communication, business ethics and organizational behavior.

Students are exposed to a unique blend of classroom and applied experiential learning opportunities to prepare them for work in the modern economy. We also offer a wide range of both required and elective courses in areas such as entrepreneurship, leadership, consulting and organizational development, human resources, talent analytics and strategic management.
We offer consulting services to solve all types of operational and strategic talent challenges. To support our educational mission and research mission, the management department relies heavily on the Faber Entrepreneurship Center and the Center for Executive Succession. These centers work to support research activities, promote links between the University of South Carolina and the business community, and build competencies and skills among both undergraduate and graduate students.
