Global Track Immersion

The Global Track Immersion is an on-the-ground, international experience that builds multi-national and cultural expertise. During your second year, you’ll be immersed in an international region where English is the primary language.

Your in-country learning experience.

Immersion typically lasts from early January until early March of your second year. The global track English-language immersion locations and the location selected varies from year to year. Before finalizing your track choice, you will be notified of the location and partner institution where you will complete your immersion coursework.

Global Track Immersion Experiences

  • Hong Kong, China
  • Johannesburg, South Africa
  • Singapore
  • Taipei, Taiwan

Housing

Students have a range of housing choices. Your options will vary depending on your taste and preferences, and the availability of housing options in a particular region. Most students opt to rent an apartment or flat near their classes. Before your immersion, you will be provided with tips compiled by previous classes to use as a guide during your housing search.

Required Coursework

All International MBA students enroll in the Globalization and the International Context of Business course during the international immersion. The course requirements include a field study project, which will begin during your immersion. The project will focus on a specific business, company or organization located in your host country. In your last term, after completing your immersion, you will complete the final portion of the course, which connects your immersion experiences and the marketplace elements using the business anthropology model.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
