Tuition and Fees

Your program fee is a whole program fee, not an annual fee. That means the amount covers your tuition for the duration of the program and is divided into payments over your enrollment in the program.

Whether you’re enrolled in the One-Year MBA or the International MBA, our goal is to deliver a program that provides you with a competitive return on your investment. In addition to one of the most affordable tuition rates in the full-time MBA program market, we offer competitive financial awards. We aim to meet your needs of a top-ranked MBA education and low debt as you start your post-MBA career. The Office of Financial Aid provides the full breakdown of the estimated cost to attend.

Tuition distribution of your program fee will vary by length of your degree:

Program Summer Payment Fall Payment Spring Payment
One-Year MBA 50% 25% 25%
International MBA: Year 1 22% 14% 14%
International MBA: Year 2 22% 14% 14%

2The Academic Common Market: Established to help out-of-state students reduce the monetary investment needed for graduate studies. Under the ACM agreement, a non-resident student may pay in-state tuition, provided the institution they wish to attend is a member of the ACM and no comparable program is available within their state of legal residency. Of the member states of the ACM, some offer an International MBA program; thus, residents of those states would not be eligible for the reduced costs for out-of-state programs. This information is subject to change and it is managed by the ACM directly.

  • States participating in the ACM and supporting the International MBA program at the Moore School:
Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Virginia, West Virginia

  • States participating in the ACM but NOT supporting the International MBA at the Moore School:
Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas

3The University of South Carolina/Sister-State Tuition Benefit program: Offers resident (in-state) tuition to citizens of the following countries and states:

  • State of Rhineland-Palatinate/Rhineland-Pfalz - Germany
  • State of Thuringen - Germany
  • State of Brandenburg - Germany
  • State of Queensland - Australia
  • Province of Taiwan, Republic of China

Through this agreement — which is extended at will by the University of South Carolina— any International MBA candidate who is a citizen of these states would pay in-state tuition, significantly lowering the cost of the program. To qualify, applicants must be admitted to the International MBA program and must demonstrate citizenship with a valid passport.

4In addition to tuition and fees listed above, JD/International MBA students are also responsible for paying the School of Law tuition and fees.
