Background
Deniz Sanin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the Darla Moore School of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University in May 2022. Between 2021 and 2022, she was also a research fellow in the Women and Public Policy Program at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her research interests are development and labor economics with a focus on gender. Her recent research projects explore the impact of government policies and laws on female employment and domestic violence. She teaches econometrics and development economics.
