Switzerland native develops alternate problem-solving tactics in Master of International Business Double-Degree program

Dario Röösli, Master of International Business candidate

Master of International Business candidate Dario Röösli came to the Moore School because of its reputation for excellence in international business. After spending a year pursuing his Master of International Management degree at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, he traveled to South Carolina to experience an American perspective on business.

“Bocconi University provided me with theoretical skills and structured thinking, while the Moore School MIB program taught me more practical and hands-on skills,” he said. “I think that the combination of both gives me the unique ability to better handle the transition between the theoretical side of a problem and the actual problem-solving and development of a practical solution.”

In the last year, the Switzerland native has studied alongside nearly 50 fellow MIB Double-Degree students from more than 15 different countries, giving him the opportunity to gain a well-rounded international perspective from both his professors and his peers.

“It’s been an outstanding year and one of the best experiences of my life,” he said. “I was able to improve both my hard and soft skills through in-class learning and off-campus experiences with my classmates.”

After graduating from the Moore School MIB program in May, Röösli will return to Milan to complete his thesis in data analytics, inspired by his time completing the Business Analytics Certificate at the Moore School.
