Background
Douglas Tuers is in his third year at the School of Information Science. He has published several articles and presented at conferences in his field. He is currently a cadet in the University of South Carolina's Army Reserve Officer Training Corps. He served in the Army Infantry and a tour of duty in the Iraq War.
