The UofSC community — faculty, staff, students and alumni — is invited to join journalism students in casting their ballots for the best Super Bowl commercial Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021.
This year, students and faculty in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications will gather virtually to watch the game and critique the lineup of Super Bowl commercials. They will evaluate the commercials on likability, persuasiveness and brand identity. The winning ad will be announced on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Alumni and friends can vote online for their favorite ad. The online poll is available
from this page immediately after the Super Bowl concludes. Voting closes at 9 a.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Each year the advertising team that creates the winning commercial is invited to campus to receive the coveted Cocky Award and share behind-the scenes stories in the making of the commercial.
