The Department of Marketing at the Moore School is widely acclaimed for its scholarly expertise in various facets of consumer psychology, marketing strategy, research methods, behavioral pricing and marketing communications. It offers an undergraduate concentration in marketing as well as two Ph.D. concentrations — consumer behavior and marketing analysis.
The Department of Marketing offers an undergraduate marketing major focusing on the process of planning and executing the development, pricing, distributions and promotion of services, products and ideas. The marketing major also covers the study of economic, cultural, demographic and attitudinal factors that influence demand for products and services.
The primary objective of the Ph.D. in marketing at the Moore School is to provide doctoral students with the best training possible to maximize career opportunities in university teaching and research. Its concentrations in consumer behavior and marketing analysis offer intensive training in research methodology and theory applicable to scholarly marketing and buyer behavior issues.
