Amy Smedberg advises general track MLIS, online MMC, and Accelerated MMC program students.
Smedberg started her higher education career working in undergraduate admissions at Clemson University. Most recently, she worked in recruitment and account development in the higher education marketing and software space.
Smedberg teaches University 101 (The Student in the University). This course is taught every fall semester to provide support for the incoming freshman class. This course helps students transition into higher education and the potential roles a student will have within the university.
In her free time, Smedberg enjoys traveling, seeing live music, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her three dogs. She is slightly addicted to watching documentaries, true crime shows, and stand-up comedy. She also enjoys visiting contemporary art exhibits and finding new public street art.
