Afnan Hakami worked as a lecturer at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition to her teaching experience and training in the library and information field, she has administrative experience, having held many positions, most notable head of the Document Digitization Project at the Documents and Archives Center in IAU.
