Darla Moore School of Business

Company/Recruiter Resources

If you're a company or recruiter interested in hiring Moore School students, you've come to the right place.  From our Business EXPOs, which draw hundreds of students, to small gatherings of specific candidates, to connecting with classrooms virtually, we can ensure that you reach students in a way that meets your recruiting needs.

Recruiting at the Moore School

The Darla Moore School of Business is world-renowned for the quality of our students. We are excited that you’re interested in recruiting here.  We've posted a general recruiting guide below. If you have questions, you can always reach out to us at recruit@moore.sc.edu.

All employers should have an account on the Handshake recruiting platform. Once you have an account, you can post jobs/internships, search for candidates, create and join events, and set up interviews. Our step-by-step Handshake guide can be found here.

We encourage employers to have an event at the Moore School if they have a job posted. This will boost the number and quality of candidates who will apply for your position. Events can be anything from a table display where you can chat with students informally, to a trivia night where you can meet students and build your brand. You can view our Handshake guide to see how to set up your own event or visit our events page for more general information.

To join an event hosted by the Moore School, such as the Business EXPO, you can log on to Handshake and search “Events” and “Fairs.”

Our students are amazing, but you don’t have to take our word for it. You can view salary and employment statistics for our undergraduate and graduate students. We also invite you to learn more about our undergraduate, business masters and MBA programs.

The Handshake platform is used to post jobs and set up interviews. We offer multiple interview rooms in our building. We strongly encourage employers to post jobs and/or make interview requests at least two weeks in advance. This allows students to apply for positions and for employers to have a presence at the Moore School while they have jobs posted. You can view a sample interview timeline in our Handshake guide. Please make sure you have reviewed our recruiting policy before interviewing students.

For general questions regarding jobs or internships, you can email recruit@moore.sc.edu.  If you have an industry specific question, you can contact our Employer Relations staff. If you have a Handshake question, it can be answered by the main USC Career Center at career@sc.edu.
