The University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business will feature South Carolina President Robert “Bob” Caslen at the 39th annual Economic Outlook Conference on Dec. 3.
President Caslen will share his vision for USC and local economic development in South Carolina. With significant economic challenges in the years ahead, the university will play a critical role in helping to improve the competitiveness of South Carolina's communities. President Caslen's address will offer a fresh perspective on the role of higher education in advancing the Palmetto State's economy in the 21st century.
In addition to Caslen’s address, the Moore School will debut the 2020 South Carolina and national economic forecast. Speakers will include Sarah House, director and senior economist at Wells Fargo; Doug Woodward, division of research director and professor of economics at the Moore School; and Joey Von Nessen, research economist at the Moore School.
The Dec. 3 conference will be from 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the USC Pastides Alumni Center. The price of attendance is $75. Register by Nov. 28 at moore.sc.edu/eoc.
