Why Study Artificial Intelligence in Business?
Taught by faculty from across the Darla Moore School of Business, the Artificial Intelligence in Business Certificate is offered for individuals who seek to understand and leverage AI tools and techniques for business applications. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI and machine learning methodologies and their impact on business strategies and practices.
This multi-disciplinary approach allows students to develop effective AI strategies for businesses and build the skills necessary for AI-based data analysis and analytical decision-making. As AI continues to transform industries, this certificate equips students to develop predictive and prescriptive models using AI tools and create machine learning applications for businesses.
This 12-credit hour certificate allows students to deepen their understanding of the key concepts and applications of artificial intelligence in a business context. Through the program, students will learn to recognize the lifecycle stages of data analytics and manage analytics projects effectively.
Academic Requirements
The Artificial Intelligence in Business Certificate is pursued concurrently with other graduate programs at the Darla Moore School of Business and requires four courses (12 credit hours). Students must complete two required core courses and choose two additional electives.
