Advertising

Our students know what it takes to promote and sell products and services. Learn how to create, manage and execute advertising campaigns for all types of clients.

Broadcast Journalism

Learn to be a television or radio reporter, producer, director or announcer. You will learn to report the news and understand all parts of the broadcast industry.

Information Science

One of our newest degrees, this major prepares you to examine how people and organizations use, store, communicate and transfer information. The goal of this degree is to prepare you for careers in the expanding world of information services.

Journalism

You will learn skills critical to moving your journalism career forward in a mobile media world. Those include writing, editing, navigating the increasingly important world of data and producing audio, visuals and graphics.

Mass Communications

Gain broad insights into the communications industry and learn to recognize and analyze the media’s role in our society. You will graduate with a deep intellectual understanding of the elements at work in the media today and are well rounded and media literate.

Public Relations

Our public relations program teaches students to develop and manage campaigns; write press releases, brochures, and newsletters; and help elevate a client’s image and message across media platforms.

Visual Communications

As a visual communications student, you will study photojournalism, videography, design, infographics and other illustrative ways of sharing information.
