Background

Rachel A. Mayer is a lifelong scholar exploring crisis communication amidst international, environmental crises. Her dedication to international public relations prompted her to move from Atlanta to Melbourne, Australia following the completion of her master’s degree.

Mayer aspires to become a professor and foster fellow scholars’ passion for learning. Beyond the classroom, she is an adventurous traveler, and she recently achieved her goal of visiting 30 countries before her 30th birthday. She adores watching SEC football and hiking with her family, including her two Great Pyrenees.
