Background

Amarachi Okoronkwo’s work focuses on patient-provider communication, misinformation, health campaigns and health interventions. Her research examines how evidence-based communication strategies can strengthen health literacy, enhance trust in healthcare, and promote health outcomes. With over three years of clinical experience, she has worked alongside healthcare professionals to support patient education, clinical communication, healthcare administration, and community-based health initiatives.

Beyond her research, Okoronkwo is dedicated to advancing public health through volunteering with healthcare organizations in the United States and Nigeria, supporting initiatives that promote good health behavior.

Outside of academia, she enjoys learning new languages, watching movies, cooking, and exploring new places.
