Three interrelated missions comprise the School of Accounting: education, scholarship and service.
The School of Accounting is dedicated to excellence in all three missions.
Education mission: Prepare students to become either successful accounting professionals in a global information society or Ph.D. qualified accounting academics.
Scholarship mission: Contribute to the accounting discipline and profession through the discovery, integration and application of knowledge.
Service mission: Contribute to the international, national, state and local academic and professional communities.

The Master of Accountancy program at Moore School is designed for talented, hard-working individuals who want to develop the full range
of skills that a successful career in accounting requires. The MACC program will hone
your ability to analyze information, identify problems, provide value-added solutions,
interact with various types of people and communicate ideas in a compelling manner. With
small class sizes, an impressive record of job placement for graduates and solid preparation
for the CPA exam, the MACC program delivers a distinct advantage for a rewarding career.
The Accelerated program allows high-achieving USC-Columbia students to complete their undergraduate accounting
and MACC degrees in as few as four years.
The Ph.D. concentration in accounting at the Moore School provides students with the skills necessary to become productive scholars or teachers
at a major university.
