Background

Sung-Hee "Sunny" Park, Ph.D., CAP*, is the Director of the Data Lab and Clinical Associate Professor of Management Science at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at Kettering University (formerly known as General Motors Institute of Technology) and as a tenured Assistant Professor at Dalton State (one of the University System of Georgia schools), where he taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Management Information Systems, Innovation Management, and International Business.  He has considerable prior consulting experience in both IT and IB which he brings to bear in both his teaching and pragmatic research.  His current teaching interests include business analytics, experiential education, and internationalization. His current scholarly interests include IS Adoption, IT Management, Data Analytics, and Innovation Education.  He has published in many proceedings and journals including Information & Management, Information Technology & Management, the Journal of Service Research, and the International Journal of Operations & Production Management. He received his Ph.D. and I.MBA. from the University of South Carolina and his B.B.A. from Korea University. He recently earned a CBDA** from IIBA® (International Institute of Business Analytics) and he is also a certified SAP*** instructor.
