The Alumni Athlete Committee serves as the bridge between the business world and the University of South Carolina athletic community. Our members are dedicated to fostering mentorship, career growth, and lifelong connections for those who have balanced the demands of both the classroom and the field.

Our Purpose

• Student-Athlete Mentorship: Providing direct guidance to current Moore School student-athletes.
• Career Placement: Facilitating internships and job opportunities through our extensive professional networks
• Networking and Support: Hosting annual events and providing career advancement resources specifically for alumni athletes.
• Academic Collaboration: Partnering with faculty to provide real-world sports business insights through guest speaking and case studies.

Membership and Eligibility

• Eligibility: Open to Moore School undergraduate or graduate alumni who participated in a University of South Carolina athletic program.
• Composition: The committee maintains a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 alumni members, along with two current student-athlete representatives.
• Member Commitment: Members are expected to demonstrate an active commitment to the committee's goals through their time or financial support.
