The competition provides a case study outlining a brand's history and its current advertising situation. Then, go! Alpha Alpha Alpha | The Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) is an honors organization that recognizes the First-Generation college students and elevates their achievements. The Alpha Psi chapter at USC has a goal to recognize academic achievements in first-generation college students, create enthusiasm for scholarship, to promote leadership, and to provide support networks for first-generation students within and across college chapters. Tri-Alpha also aims to support all of the members to gain leadership opportunities available on-campus and in community, volunteering experience for strengthening their position for post graduation career, and to gain various experiences during their time as undergraduate.

Arnold School of Public Health Ambassadors | ASPH Ambassadors aid in the recruitment process for prospective students and their families. Events can include, but are not limited to, open houses, admitted students days, family weekend, prospective student session, etc. Our ambassadors are a diverse group of involved students who exemplify outstanding qualities of leadership, service, scholarship, and global citizenship. | Campus Involvement, Educational Support, Leadership |
Campus Recreation Adventure Trip Leader | Trip leaders plan and execute day-long outdoor adventure trips; responsibilities include conducting pre-trip meetings with participants to set expectations, build relationships, communicate risks, and provide training for participants. During the trip, leaders serve as guides and wilderness medical first responders. | Leadership |
Campus Recreation Leader | Students execute all aspects of a Campus Recreation program or facility (fitness, member services, operations, or sport programs), with responsibility for supervising student staff and planning for facility and equipment needs. | Leadership |
Campus Recreation Manager | Managers serve a dual role as a Leader while also designing programs and planning for effective operations in Fitness, Member Services, Operations, Outdoor Recreation, and/or Sport Programs. Campus Recreation Sport Club Executive Board | Sport Club Executive Board (SCEB) members are elected by sport club officers to build support for the sport club program and achieve common goals, and interact with a variety of constituents including sport club members, faculty, staff, and university administrators. | Leadership |
Career Studio Peer Educator | Career Studio Peer Educators advise students on career-related questions during appointments, manage front-desk operations, create and deliver presentations, initiate outreach activities, participate in marketing projects, and collaborate with professional staff members on career development initiatives. | Leadership |
Carolina Entrepreneurship Fellow | Fellows attend meetings with McNair Institute leaders individually and as a group to learn more about the Institute, strategize to expand the McNair Institute brand and initiatives across schools and colleges of the UofSC system, and help deliver Institute programs that foster entrepreneurism and free enterprise education and support. | Leadership |
Carolina Experience Peer Leader (CEPL) | Carolina Experience Peer Leaders (CEPL) serve as a mentor and role model to USC students. Students in this engagement facilitate one-on-one discussions by sharing their experiences on positive campus engagement and academic behaviors and actions. | Leadership |
Carolina Judicial Council | Play a key role in upholding one of South Carolina's oldest and most hallowed traditions: the Carolinian Creed. As a member of the Carolina Judicial Council, you'll join a peer board and honor society that reviews student conduct violations and metes out sanctions. | Leadership |
Carolina Productions Executive Board | Be a memory maker for thousands of South Carolina students. You'll work closely with fellow board members to design, execute and evaluate programs and events for students, such as concerts, movie screenings, comedy shows and more. | Leadership |
CEC LEAD Academy | The College of Engineering and Computing's LEAD program is a FREE one day experience held at our college designed to work in conjunction with the SC educational standards to provide high school students with hands-on experiences in a particular area of engineering and computing. CIC Ambassadors | The CIC Dean's Ambassadors are a multifaceted group of students who represent our two schools. These students are champions for the University of South Carolina and represent some of the best and brightest among our student population. Close Family Emerging Leaders Program | Tap into your leadership potential as an emerging leader. College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador | Ambassadors represent the College at student recruitment and other special events; provide informal tours and serve as a resource to prospective and incoming students and special guests of the college; assist with orientation event; provide feedback and suggestions to College leadership related to student recruitment and orientation programming. | Leadership |
College of Engineering and Computing Peer Mentor | Each CEC Peer Mentor is matched with a mentee through the UofSC Mentorship Hub, to answer questions and share their experiences about working toward personal, academic, and professional goals. Mentors contact their mentee at least once per month and report their mentorship interactions. | Leadership |
College of Pharmacy Student Government | We, the students of the USC College of Pharmacy, in order to conduct student affairs in an efficient, orderly, and systematic manner, do define clearly the powers and responsibility of the student organizations in the college of pharmacy. We are the glue the binds all of the organizations together and oversee student organization activity while being a liaison between the students and faculty.

Pillars for Carolina Extended Mentor | Pillars for Carolina XMs help introduce incoming students to student life and resources on campus. Pillars for Carolina Leadership Team | Student leaders manage all components of the planning, recruitment, and execution of the Pillars for Carolina Extended Orientation Program. Preston Ambassadors | Preston Ambassadors regularly provide tours to prospective students and their families each semester, often showing Preston to more than 600 guests in one day. The group is guided by the Preston Ambassador Constitution. Preston Leadership Weekend | Leadership Weekend brings students together to enhance their leadership skills and abilities. This fun-filled event will create relationships and partnerships, in addition to enhancing the Preston community. | Leadership |
Preston Mentor Program | The Preston Peer Mentor Program matches incoming Preston Residential College students with a diverse group of Preston students who are dedicated to fostering student development and building leadership skills. This one-semester program strives to enhance the first-year experience within Preston by providing a peer mentor to help new students make a more successful transition from high school to college, both socially and academically.

Residence Hall Association | RHA represents the interests of the residents at USC. The organization serves as both a governing body and a programming body. Each residence hall at the University of South Carolina has a Hall Government. Three representatives from each Hall Government attend a weekly Senate Meeting. Resolutions asking for visitation plan changes, smoking issues on-campus and legal downloading have been debated in the past. Additionally, the Hall Government plans programming for their residence halls. Many programs are on safety, diversity, sustainability and wellness and these programs serve as an opportunity for residents to meet each other and enjoy their residential community at USC.
Associated Student Organization (ASO): student organizations to which the University has delegated certain limited authority to perform specific tasks aligned with the University's mission. Returning Resident Assistant | Be a guiding hand that helps students thrive on campus. RISE Ambassadors | The R.I.S.E. Ambassadors are an extension of the Gamecocks Stand Up bystander intervention program. They are a group of students who are passionate about supporting and empowering the USC community to engage in bystander intervention through their lens as students in supporting their peers. R.I.S.E. Ambassadors achieve this through creative exploration and implementation of student-driven initiatives.
Each semester, R.I.S.E. Ambassadors are tasked with developing and facilitating one project related to bystander intervention. Service Saturday Senior Site Leader | Put your leadership skills to the test! You'll train student site leaders and coordinate the project logistics for several hundred South Carolina students to serve the Columbia community each month. Student Government Association | Officers and Student Representatives of the SGA are elected by the student body in two separate elections held in the fall and spring. Officers and representatives of the SGA work closely with the administration and faculty to represent student interests and viewpoints. Student Government Executive Cabinet | Under the general direction of the Student Body President, the Executive Cabinet is comprised of Cabinet Secretaries who oversee various departments within Student Government. Student Government Program Director | Students in this role train and supervise a team of peers to work on a specific Student Government initiative, and lead conversations about the establishment of goals and priorities. The Bateman Team | Public Relations Campaigns is an advanced, required course for undergraduate public relations majors. It is a course in research, planning, implementation, and measurement of public relations campaigns. This section of the course is specifically designed for members of the university's PRSSA Bateman Team to compete in the national campaign competition.
