Mock Trial Team
What to Expect
The USC Mock Trial Program is a member of a national organization known as the American Mock Trial Association. Each year, AMTA writes and distributes a case packet to teams across the country, which includes all the materials necessary to compete at trial. Mock trial is a team activity that gives competitors the chance to explore the legal system and develop the advocacy skills needed to excel within it. It's a great way to learn how to excel under pressure, improve your oratory skills, and work with others. We host our own tournaments, travel the country, and elect our leadership from within. It's a great way to make friends on campus and off!
Associated Student Organization (ASO): student organizations to which the University has delegated certain limited authority to perform specific tasks aligned with the University's mission. These groups are required to maintain a University Advisor who is acting within the context of their university employment.
