Dance Marathon
What to Expect
University of South Carolina Dance Marathon is the largest student-run philanthropic organization on USC's campus. We are a movement uniting our students, campus, and community to raise funds for the Child Life Program at Prisma Health Children's Hospital, our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events including our spring Main Event, which is traditionally a 14-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon that celebrates the culmination of a year's worth of efforts to raise funds and awareness for our hospital.
Associated Student Organization (ASO): student organizations to which the University has delegated certain limited authority to perform specific tasks aligned with the University's mission. These groups are required to maintain a University Advisor who is acting within the context of their university employment..
