The Gaming Collegian
What to Expect
The Gaming Collegian is a video game news and entertainment organization that gives students the opportunity to write articles, record videos and learn editing basics, while also being a place where students can be creative. The Collegian is open to any student with a passion for video games and for those interested in getting hands-on experience writing news articles and reviews. Students will also have the opportunity to record video, do voice-overs, host a podcast, and host news episodes. Our purpose is to give students interested in games journalism a place they can build those skills and for those interested in learning other skills, like social media management, photography, and videography, a place they can build a portfolio using the medium of video games.
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
