The university is in the construction stages for a new, 16-acre health sciences campus in Columbia. Construction on the new education, administration, and biomedical science research buildings began in the of Spring 2025 and the $300 million project is expected to be completed in 2027. It will be a state-of-the-art learning environment designed for teaching the next generation of health care professionals and research scientists.
