University Policy Oversight

University policies are organized by administrative division and each division has a responsible officer and a policy liaison.

The responsible officer is the division head and develops, authorizes and implements that division's policies. The officer is responsible to keep all division policies up-to-date and revise policies to reflect current policy, practice and procedure of the university. Each university policy should be reviewed by the originating division and revised as necessary at least every five years.

The responsible officer annually appoints a policy liaison who will serve as the main point of contact with the Office of the Provost for all policy-related matters for the division or campus.
