Christopher Collins joined the Joseph F. Rice School of Law in 2025 as Reference & Faculty Services Librarian. He holds JD and MLIS degrees from the University of Alabama and a BA in Spanish Literature from Georgia State University. He grew up in Columbia and Atlanta and was previously the Research & Emerging Technologies Librarian at Western New England University. 

 

Before entering the legal academy, Mr. Collins pursued eclectic professional endeavors across the U.S. and abroad in the education and hospitality sectors, among others. He also holds a real estate license, a pilot’s license, and a diploma in brewing science. His scholarly interests include legal history, jurisprudence, and literature. Outside of work you’ll find him pursuing the noble arts of barbecuing and home improvement.
