Volunteer Opportunities

You are the face of the law school and its greatest resource now and in the years ahead. You are part of a powerful network of lawyer-leaders who have actively made a difference in the legal profession and to your law school.

Looking for Ways to Volunteer?

USC Joseph F. Rice School of Law offers the following opportunities to alumni who are interested in volunteering with other alumni, students, clinics, and centers.

Responsibilities include reaching out to prospective and newly admitted students and providing them with valuable insight on your experiences as a student at USC Joseph F. Rice School of Law. Contact Megan Seiner by email with any questions.

Responsibilities include working with the Development and Alumni Office to increase alumni knowledge and enthusiasm for the School of Law, encourage participation in Fall Reunion Alumni Weekend, regional engagements, and secure annual contributions to support the School of Law. Please contact Carol Mitchell at 803-777-3408 or by email with any questions.

Join the law school’s effort to have volunteer law students who are ready, willing, and able to assist you with your pro bono cases and projects. Contact Taylor Gilliam, Director of the Pro Bono Program, by email for more information about the Pro Bono Clerks Program.

Contact Elizabeth Chambliss, Director of the NMRS Center on Professionalism at 803-777-9942 or by email to learn more about becoming a mentor.
