Law Alumni Frequently Asked Questions

 

Copies of Diplomas can be ordered from the University Registrar’s office on the Duplicate and Replacement Diplomas page.  

Official transcripts can be ordered from the University Registrar’s office on the Transcripts page.  

To request a certification of graduation letter, please complete the Alumni Information Request Form and send to Lawreg@law.sc.edu. Please be sure to submit any applicable forms with your submission.  

To request a copy of your law school application, please complete the Alumni Information Request Form and send to The Office of Law Registrar at Lawreg@law.sc.edu. Your first two requests are free. One dollar per page charge will be incurred for each additional request.  

To request your final class rank, please complete the Alumni Information Request Form and send to The Office of Law Registrar at Lawreg@law.sc.edu.  

The Office of Law Registrar completes forms for bar jurisdictions in consultation with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Dean of the law school. To request a form to be completed, please complete the Alumni Information Request Form, and send to The Office of Law Registrar at Lawreg@law.sc.edu. Please be sure to submit any applicable forms to your submission. 

 Graduates of the Law School may request to audit a course by completing the School of Law Course Audit Application and return it to the Office of Admissions.  

Unofficial transcripts are available on Self Service Carolina for a limited time after graduation. Log in to Self Service Carolina, Choose Student and then Student Profile. On the left-hand side, you can access your unofficial transcript, review your registration history, and many other things. After your transcript is no longer available on SSC, you must request an official transcript from the University Registrar’s Transcripts page.  

The Law School does not provide copies of undergraduate transcripts. You must contact your undergraduate institution for a copy.
