With legal landmarks such as the South Carolina Statehouse, the South Carolina Supreme Court, the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the National Advocacy Center, and the Childrens Law Center within a two-block radius, South Carolina Law anchors the statelegal corridor, and is ideally situated to serve both the legal community and the next generation of lawyers.

Law Library Hours

Between April 10 and April 25, the law library be open for the following weekend hours:

  • Saturdays           10 AM – 6 PM
  • Sundays              1 PM – 9 PM

Our weekday hours will remain the same during this time up to Friday, April 30th.

Beginning Saturday, May 1 thru Friday, May 28, our hours will be:

  • Saturdays & Sundays            CLOSED
  • Monday–Friday                       8 AM – 6 PM

The building will be open 24/7 for School of Law employees with their Carolina Card. Wellness forms are required.

The building is open by appointment only for all others.

Gervais Street doors will be accessible with a Carolina Card at the same time in the morning as the Senate Street doors, but will be inaccessible after 6 PM.

All other exterior doors are not accessible for entry.

Classroom doors will be locked after the last class of the day in each classroom.

The building will be open during the law school's wellness days.
