USC Sponsors 2016 Inquiry Matters Conference

Thanks to continued funding and support from the College of Education, The Center for Inquiry will host the third annual Inquiry Matters professional conference, Inquiry Matters: Teaching Content and Literacy Across the Curriculum, on April 16, 2016, as part of the College of Education’s ongoing collaboration with Richland County school districts.The Center for Inquiry, a Professional Development School, is an ongoing project between the Colelge of Education and Richland SChool District 2 that creates a unique learning environment in a small school setting, for students and student teachers alike.

This year’s conference anticipates more than 250 teacher and student teacher participants from across the United States gathering to explore issues including Teaching for Democracy and Social Justice and Problem-Based Learning.

Inquiry Matters is funded by Dr. Heidi Mills’ Hungerpiller Professorship at the University of South Carolina and supported by the Center for Inquiry in Richland School District Two.​
