Application Process

You must apply to receive funding each academic year. Applications are usually available for the next academic year at https://www.scstudentloan.org/ by late February or early March. The academic year that you are applying for should display at the top of the application.

The online application can be completed electronically or printed and completed by hand. You can mail or bring your completed application to the address below, or you can save it as a PDF file and password protect it to email it to Claire Stevens (ces8@mailbox.sc.edu ) sending the password in a separate email.

Eligibility

Freshmen may be eligible for the loan without meeting the Praxis Core requirement. To be eligible after the Freshman year, students must meet the Praxis Core requirement by exemption or passing all sections of the exam.
