Not knowing what to wear is an everyday hassle that many people can relate to.  But having truly nothing to wear is a very real issue with much bigger implications. Cocky Couture is a new student organization at University of South Carolina that aims to make a difference in the lives of Columbia families through fashion.

The student-run charitable organization is dedicated to providing free clothing donations to underprivileged Columbia residents.  The club is working to establish Cocky Couture pop-up retail stores where residents in need can find clothing that doesn’t just fit, but feels good.

“Clothing means feeling comfortable and ready for the day, but it also has a tremendous impact on how you feel about yourself in a bigger sense,” said USC retailing student Justin Steele.

Get Involved
The organization is open to all full-time USC students, but you don’t have to be a student to get involved. To participate, email soCOUTUR@mailbox.sc.edu or visit the Cocky Couture UorSC Facebook page.

Cocky Couture is currently working to collect all forms of lightly or never worn apparel and accessories. Additionally, the organization is looking for donations or partnerships with schools, retailers and community resource organizations that can help set up clothing collection sites and pop-up retail locations to serve the community.
