The Nicole and David Tepper Scholars Program was established in 2020 to support the best and brightest students in pursuing a career in sport management. The Tepper Scholars Program provides four-year scholarships to four incoming sport and entertainment management freshmen each year. The scholarships cover approximately half the cost of tuition and also provide unique career development and mentoring opportunities. Selection for the Tepper Scholars Program is based on academic merit and commitment to sport and entertainment management, with an emphasis on supporting underrepresented students.
The application period for the Tepper Scholars cohort beginning fall 2021 is now closed. Freshman who are admitted to the University of South Carolina's sport and entertainment management program for fall 2022 will be able to apply in winter 2021/2022. More information is available on the Department of Sport and Entertainment Management's website.
