- Development and implementation of interventions and innovative instructional practices that lead to improved mathematical understanding for all students, with an emphasis on students at-risk for mathematical difficulties
- Support systems general and special education teachers’ mathematics content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge, as well as co-teaching practices, to advance their inclusive mathematics instruction, and
- Innovative pre-service teacher preparation that uses research-based practices to facilitate high-quality mathematics instruction.
