The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management offers an unforgettable experiential learning opportunity each April by sending hundreds of students to Augusta, Georgia, to work the Masters Tournament. In preparation for next year's event, the College of HRSM is hosting the Masters Tournament Job Expo on Thursday, Sept. 12, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Conference Center on the 8th floor of Close-Hipp.

This is an opportunity for currently enrolled USC students to speak with Masters Tournament representatives and students who have worked at a Masters Tournament previously. You can learn about specific departments, responsibilities, and how to apply and interview for the 2025 Masters Tournament!

Working the Masters Tournament has helped me network with club management professionals and enhance my resume, which has led me to internships and my post-graduation job at one of the top private clubs in the country.

This tournament has helped me refine my communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, and it has grown my knowledge in supply chain management, sport and entertainment management, and has continued to show me how important each department is to the tournament's success. This tournament has played a massive role in developing me into who I am today and for that, I am forever grateful.

Working the Masters Tournament truly has been one of the highlights of my college experience due to not only my love of golf, but the people I have met and connections I have made along the way. It truly is 'a tradition like no other' and I feel lucky to consider myself a part of it.

Working the Masters Tournament has sharpened my ability to solve problems swiftly while effectively managing teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. While I don't envision a future in the golf industry, the lessons I have learned from working at the Masters will benefit me in any career I pursue.
