Biography

Cody Lidge supervises the Children’s Law Center’s Court Liaisons and Court Improvement Program Attorney trainers.  His primary role is to collaborate with the South Carolina Department of Social Services, South Carolina Court Administration and other state systems to enhance court hearings to ensure timely permanency for children impacted by abuse and/or neglect.  Prior to joining the Children’s Law Center, Cody worked as a Court Liaison floater with the Children’s Law Center, a Management Analyst at Child and Family Services in Washington, D.C., and as a Family Court Representative with South Carolina Judicial Department.  Cody earned an M.P.A. and a B.A. (Phi Beta Kappa) in Political Science from the University of South Carolina.
