The McNair Institute for Entrepreneurism and Free Enterprise at the University of South Carolina announces the Third Annual McNair Entrepreneurship Showcase to be held Jan. 31 at The Senate in Columbia featuring Steve Forbes as keynote speaker.
"The showcase is designed to inspire, invigorate and inform students, business leaders and alumni about entrepreneurship and innovation in South Carolina," said Dirk Brown, faculty director of the McNair Institute.
The event will feature UofSC student- and alumni-owned startups, representing a variety of industries such as technology, consumer goods, and marketing. Attendees will also be able to meet with regional resource providers for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The showcase event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Young America's Foundation. Registration is open.
