Interprofessional Education

The HIV Interprofessional Education Program provides a unique learning opportunity for students from the School of Medicine, College of Social Work, College of Pharmacy and College of Nursing to build an interprofessional learning experience around the complex care of people living with HIV.

Internship Program

A layered model of practicing experts (infectious diseases physicians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners and social workers) will oversee mini-teams of five to six learners using multiple teaching modalities, including focused didactics, small group discussion sessions and problem-based learning, along with hands-on learning with an emphasis on reflection.

Faculty

Faculty members from the USC School of Medicine, College of Social Work, College of Pharmacy and College of Nursing coordinate across disciplines and academic area to administer the HIV Interprofessional Education Program.
