Secondary Transition Specialist Add-On

This South Carolina endorsement prepares educators to serve as postsecondary transition specialists who plan for students to move from school to adult life. A postsecondary transition specialist focuses on preparing students for all post-school outcomes (e.g., college attendance, employment, independent living). These educators will design programs for all students, with an emphasis on students with disabilities and students at-risk for dropping out of school.

The following University of South Carolina courses meet the current South Carolina add-on requirements for the Secondary Transition Specialist endorsement. All courses are offered online.
