Dr. Pedigo graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2004 with a Masters degree in Nurse Anesthesia. He worked for over 20 years as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the Upstate of South Carolina at Prisma Health System-Laurens Hospital where he served as the student coordinator for the USC School of Medicine’s Nurse Anesthesia program for that site, as well as for Anesthesiology of Greenwood at Self Regional Healthcare. He returned to the University of South Carolina to complete his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2020. Dr. Pedigo joined the USC School of Medicine program in the fall of 2024 as the Assistant Program Director for the Greenville campus. Dr. Pedigo has resided in Laurens, SC with his wife and four children for over 30 years. He and his family enjoy gardening and tending to the animals on his farm.
