Biography

Amorita McClam is one of the Learning Specialist in the SOMC Student Success and Wellness Center. Prior to taking on this new position she was the Administrative Coordinator for the Office of Curricular Affairs. Ms. McClam was an Executive Assistant in the Baltimore County Public School system for 10 years prior to moving to South Carolina in late 2021. She has worked with students of all ages since 1997 by planning, developing, and implementing, enrichment programs to help shape and mold their lives into productive responsible adults. Ms. McClam has one daughter and is a native of Buffalo, NY by way of Baltimore, MD. When not interacting with the SOMC students she loves to travel and try new recipes.
