Amanda Ord is the Court Liaison for  Horry and Marion counties. Her primary role is tracking cases that are involved with the South Carolina Department of Social Services for abused and/or neglected children and reporting any issues that would prevent cases from being heard in a timely manner. Prior to joining the Children’s Law Center, Amanda worked as a case manager with the Department of Children’s Advocacy, and as a paralegal in various areas of law such as domestic, personal injury, dispute resolution, and real estate. Amanda earned a B.A. in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and an Associate (Magna Cum Laude) in Applied Science from Horry-Georgetown Technical College.
