What drew you to the field of medicine?

I was drawn to the field of medicine when I joined my local first aid squad. I was inspired by the immediate impact on people's lives and sought to turn that into my career. Throughout high school, I learned more and more through different clinical experiences about who I am and my desired career.

What are your future plans?

After medical school, I plan on pursuing a career in trauma surgery. I love the fast-paced problem-solving and leadership skills required to successfully deal with critical patients.
