Why I chose the South Carolina Honors College
The support is what convinced me to choose the SCHC. From smaller class sizes where I can build personal connections with my teachers to my advisor who helps me with all the academic questions I have, I never find that my problems are unsolvable.
My advice for prospective students: Find out what characteristics of a college matter to you.
Favorite Honors bucket list item or experience: Working in a research lab to fulfill my Honors beyond-the-classroom requirement has been my favorite Honors experience. I get to work on technology that I know will help people in the future.
Favorite question during an information session: Do you feel like the South Carolina Honors College was the right choice for you?
Definitely. I have been able to make lifelong friends and memories all while receiving a top-tier personalized education. If I had the opportunity to make the choice again, I would not change anything.
