Kristine Ytem is a native of Greenville, S.C., and graduated from the South Carolina Honors College in 2021 with a bachelor's in experimental psychology and minors in Spanish and retail. During her time at USC, Kristine served as an Honors resident mentor, peer tutor, SSC Program assistant mentor and Neurolinguistics Aphasia Lab assistant.
After graduating from USC, Kristine went on to pursue her Master of Education in college student affairs administration at the University of Georgia. While earning her master's, Kristine worked with the UGA Career Center as the UGA Mentor Program graduate assistant, and she interned with the College of Family and Consumer Sciences Student Success and Advising Center. Kristine is dedicated to empowering and supporting students during every step of their collegiate journey, and her "why" is to help students find theirs.
Kristine is beyond excited to be back at the Honors College and is looking forward to creating more memories at USC. When she's not in the office, you can find Kristine strolling on the Riverwalk, thrifting, playing music, reading and checking restaurants off of her "Cola Cravings" bucket list.
