Our mission is to support the resilience of family and small businesses. We provide resources and networking opportunities for South Carolina business owners. As a first-of-its-kind law school program, we offer students classes and applied learning opportunities to develop the skills that they need to represent family and small businesses effectively. In addition, we identify risk factors for family and small businesses and advocate for practical solutions.
For more than 20 years, Ben has been focused on the distinctive characteristics of family & small businesses. As a lawyer, he helped businesses navigate disputes among co-owners. As a scholar, he is interested in helping businesses anticipate those issues and resolve them constructively.
