Biography

Dr. Julie Anderson joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2007. Before her appointment to the Department of Pediatrics she was in private practice with Carolina Pediatrics in Columbia, South Carolina, for five years. She is board certified in pediatrics. 

Dr. Anderson completed her higher education at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina. After receiving a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, in biology, from USC's South Carolina Honors College, she earned a doctor of medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed a general pediatrics residency at Backus Children's Hospital at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, Georgia.
