  • Numerous HRSM students worked the Wells Fargo Open, PGA Championship, U.S. Women’s Open and Senior PGA Championship, opportunities made possible by the College of HRSM’s partnerships with industry leaders and commitment to experiential learning.
  • Mackenzie Catherine Albrecht (Hospitality Management) started an internship with the PGA of America at the organization’s headquarters in Frisco, Texas.
  • Samantha Bennett (Sport and Entertainment Management) interned for Welcome to Rockville at Daytona International Speedway and for Sonic Temple at the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
  • Mickey Britt (Sport and Entertainment Management) accepted a summer internship with the East Coast Hockey League.
  • Annabelle Carter (Retailing, Sport and Entertainment Management) started a summer internship as lead social media intern with 680 the Fan in Atlanta.

  • Mekhi Gibson (Sport and Entertainment Management) was selected as a USGA Pathways Intern, one of only 24 chosen from a nationwide pool of applicants.
  • Reid Grizzle (Sport and Entertainment Management) started a summer events and development internship with Faith Family Medical Center in Nashville.

  • Nicole Alt (Retailing - Fashion Merchandising and Digital Innovations, '19) accepted a new position as a drop ship item set-up coordinator for home with Neiman-Marcus Group.
  • Sydney Bell (Hospitality Management, '17) was promoted to operations manager at Myrtle Beach Travel Park.
  • Tyler Boswell (Master of Sport and Entertainment Management, ‘16) was promoted to director of broadcast operations at USC.
  • Brittany Jones Brady (Master of International Hospitality and Tourism Management, '10) was named to Business North Carolina's Power List.

  • Jordan Crafton (Hospitality Management, '09) was a juror at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. His short film "Brooklyn Santa" won the Special Jury Award at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.
